Characteristics of Mavrodaphne Wine: Appearance: Deep, near-black color with dark purple reflections. Aroma and Flavor: Rich aromas of dried prunes, currants, caramel, chocolate, coffee, raisins, and plums. Taste Profile: Full-bodied with high alcohol content, medium acidity, and a distinctive piquant bitterness that adds complexity to the finish.
